Was a great location minutes away from Santa Lucia station and on the main strip of Jewish ghetto. The value of the room was good but since the receptionist was smoking the smell head wafted through to my room of the stairway. Also it was noisy for me as the dining table for breakfast was downstairs directly beneath my room. But otherwise you cannot beat the location and price.
Andrea (hostelsclub)
Nice hotel neat S. Lucia station and Grand Canal. It's easy to find. The room is small, but cozy.
Tatiana (hostelsclub)
Nice Hotel and excelent breakfast.
Unfortunately our bathroom was not working properly (Toilette and Shower)
If this is repaired, i could give more points.

200 characters is not enough space to review this hotel. On the hotel website it states that booking through Hostelclub entitles guests to a free complimentary breakfast. However when I asked where we get breakfast, I was told there was none. I tried to explain that I understood from the website that it would be free if booked through Hostelclub, in answer to this I received aggressive verbal abuse and the reception man scrawled free breakfast across the page and stormed out. The next morning, I had breakfast and my friend had coffee (When I paid - I was charged for this breakfast). We asked the daytime reception man, whether the man who was in attendance the previous night was OK, because we were concerned that he had become very angry, very quickly over nothing. We also said because of the fuss and confusion we would not take breakfast, but would be grateful for one cup of coffee for my friend. The general attitude towards us was from then on very unfriendly, despite our continued efforts to say good morning and good evening each day. by day four the attitude & atmosphere had improved and each day my friend had a morning coffee and I had nothing. On the morning of our departure my friend went down for a coffee and they said no there was no coffee and no breakfast and dismissed her. My friend went to the cafe next door, where the staff were sitting drinking coffee and she let them know that she wasn't very happy about it. When we left the day time receptionist blocked our exit and started going on about there being no breakfast at which point my friend told them exactly what she thought of the hotel and lack of customer service and their aggression towards us. Having checked their website again I see that it still states that Breakfast is available - there was nothing in the information that Hostel club sent to me to say that Breakfast had to be paid for. Hostelclub need to make sure that you are clear about how the hotel is selling the link to you and what customers should expect. I am sure all of this trauma during our holiday could have been avoided. Before writing this I have checked out your bookings for this hotel and I see that it says breakfast is 5 euro - but when I booked I was going by the hotel website and saw no mention on your site that breakfast was 5 euro.

Terrible, we were transferred to a hostel with bed bugs and no aircon, we had to ask repetitively to get us a fan. They said it was their Sister hotel, but when I ask the reception, they said they're not. They basically just messed up their booking.
Girlyn (hostelsclub)
Room was OK but no hot water in the shower, rude staff who wasn't keen on sorting it out. Very disappointing and unfortunately I wouldn't recommended it.
Robert (hostelsclub)
It amazes me how much people can get away with in Venice. it was clean, location was great and staff were fine. But just way too expensive for a dog keenel of a room that didn't even have a bathroom in it. And is it just the internet plans in Italy but why they hell am I to pay to use wifi?? It was that expensive that should be included, it's not 2007
Peter (hostelsclub)
Very good location, few minutes from train station.Small but clean room, comfortable bed.Bathroom outside, small but with hot water. All you need for short trip.

Consigliatissimo!

Very clean rooms but the front stuff were very rude in my opinion. There were only 3 hours for wifi per room.

Fantastic location, Cannereggio is a brilliant area to stay in. Great bars and restaurants and away from the very busy tourist areas, a lot of hidden gems. The hotel rooms are basic but it does the job, 24 hour reception and rooms cleaned daily. I have stayed here for a long weekend and also a week and found it to be just what I needed.
Francesca (hostelsclub)
POSIZIONE OTTIMALE MA BISOGNA ACCONTENTARSI ..
MICHELE (hostelsclub)
This is a great little hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great--it's right by the train station and vaporetto stop. It's also easy to walk anywhere from the hotel. This was a great deal for clean, comfortable rooms. I would definitely stay there again.
Diana (hostelsclub)
Andrea (hostelsclub)
Nice hotel, nothing fancy.
Value for money.
Very nice owner who will make an extra effort to enjoy your stay.
Robin (hostelsclub)
The hotel is quite close to the railwaystation and the area is full of other tourists. The hotel is really nice and the staff is friendly. Pretty cheap as well considering the overall hotel prices in Venice!
Salla (hostelsclub)
The place was almost perfect - very good location close to the train station, clean and comfortable room & bathroom (even though it was shared) and a very nice staff (maybe except for the mentioned beard-guy, but we rather found him 'weird' than 'unmannered')
Maciej (hostelsclub)
perfect location, good service and kind personnel.
bad points: it is not clear, when making the reservation online if breakfast is included (it's not) and you have to pay an extra 10% to have air conditioning in the room.
NOVELLA (hostelsclub)
Small, clean hotel really close to the central station; professional and nice staff; good price for the service received; extra service (like "you may take a shower") after check-out already, and being the whole day away... 100% recommendation
Agnieszka (hostelsclub)
Very small room indeed. We couldn't open the suitcase on the floor and did it on the bed instead. No air-con. No breakfast. Bad water tap. close to the railway station. Only recommend for one-night stay.
YING FUNG CATHY (hostelsclub)
Staff gentilissimo e disponibile. Consigliato!

Perfect location. Just 200m or do from train station. Room was clean and nice. One thing what disturbed was that all what was spoked in the lobby I heard in my room. As there was lot of people coming till late night then it was annoying.
They should think a bit about soundproofing the doors.
Kristi (hostelsclub)
michela (hostelsclub)
It was clean and nice hotel. It's really close to the train station.
Auguste (hostelsclub)
I DO NOT recommend that you consider staying here. We booked our room for 2 nights, 6 months in advance based on the good reviews this place had. When we arrived we were told they were full and they moved us to another hotel down the road. They said they had no room and moved us to a 3rd hotel, but they could not give us a double bed , so we got single camp beds and the following day they moved us to a double room where the beds were so bad you could hardly sleep. Lousy customer care, never book with these people, ever
Michael (hostelsclub)
Excellent value for money if you are staying during the week as otherwise the price increases on weekends....with good reason as the hotel is very near the station and was perfect for us to bunk for the night as our train arrived pretty late in the night- a lot of eating places around it and also a big shopping area- however, it is really crowded around here but on the other hand major vaporetto stops are very near. But, not a place for you if you cannot stand crowd.

A beautiful little hotel in a fabulous location close to the river, train station and bus station. The lady working in the reception was absolutely lovely, very help full and gave us nice tips and general information about Venice. The 2 gentleman we came across in the reception where not as friendly and that brought the staff scoring down. We where told Wifi is only free for an hour and only for one!! computer/phone per room. The lady later explain that we could have gotten one code each but the man in the reception at that time did not offer that to us. I will definitely stay here again. The shared shower where located on the floor above ours but toilets on each floor. It was clean and did not bother us to much to walk one stairs up. So a fabulous little gem in Venice

Accogliente e pulito
Marco (hostelsclub)
It was everything perfect. We could left our baggage there after our check-out.
Matías (hostelsclub)
Comoda posizione.
