Note per il servizio di pulizie:
La reception è aperta 24 ore su 24 non c’è il coprifuoco. L’ostello è aperto tutto il giorno e non c’è un ora di chiusura, ma chiediamo ai nostri clienti, durante il periodo delle pulizie, di lasciare il nostro personale a pulire le camere e i servizi senza creare intralcio.
Le pulizie si effettuano dalle 10h00 alle 15h00. Il check-out dovrà essere effettuato entro l’orario stabilito. Il check-in può essere effettuato in qualsiasi ora e si potrà entrare solamente in camera solo dopo la fine dell’orario di pulizie. È possibile lasciare i bagagli alla reception se si effettua il check-in durante l’orario delle pulizie.

L’Hostel Alessandro Palace è situato a circa 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione centrale di Roma Termini! :
1. Uscendo dalla stazione in corrispondenza al binario 1, troverete l’uscita su Via Marsala.
2. Su via Marsala girare a sinistra e poi subito la prima destra su via Vicenza.
3. Continuando su via Vicenza ci troverete al numero 42 sul lato sinistro.
Dall’aeroporto di Fiumicino (Leonardo da Vinci):
* Seguite le indicazioni “ai treni”. Al binario, comprate i biglietti per il Leonardo Express. I biglietti si possono acquistare alla biglietteria ,alle macchine automatiche, o in qualsiasi tabaccaio vicino ai binari. All’arrivo alla Stazione Termini seguite gli indicazioni come arrivare all’ostello dalla stazione. Il Leonardo Express parte ogni 30 minuti
Durata del viaggio: 30 minuti
* Un’altro modo più economico per arrivare all’ostello dall’aeroporto è con il treno regionale Roma -Orte-Fara Sabina. Questo treno si ferma ad ogni stazione intermedia, ma NON SI FERMA, alla stazione Termini. Se volete raggiungere la stazione Termini dovete scendere alla stazione Tiburtina (circa 8eme fermate) e poi seguite le indicazioni dalla “stazione Tiburtina”. I treni partono ogni 15-30 minuti.
Durata: 1 ora 1 ora e mezza
IMPORTANTE:
Non dimenticare di covalidare i biglietti nelle macchine prima di salire sul treno!
* Se volete prendere un taxi, vi raccomandiamo di prendere uno dei taxi bianchi che ci sono alla fermata appena fuori dall’aeroporto.
Durata: 30-40 min (dipende dalla situazione del traffico)
Dall’Aeroporto di Ciampino (RyanAir e Easyjet):
* Il modo più facile per arrivare in centro da Ciampino è attraverso lo shuttlebus , che parte dopo ogni volo arrivato.

Ciampino airport transfers
* Il servizio Cotral Bus collega l’Aeroporto di Ciampino con la stazione metro di Anagnina (metropolitana) .I biglietti possono essere comprati alle distributori automaticisituati vicino alla fermata o dentro l’aeroporto.Quando arriverete ad Anagnina comprare un biglietto della metro e scendere alla fermata di Termini (circa 15 fermate). Seguire le direzioni “Da Termini”
Durata: 1 ora 1ora e mezza
IMPORTANTE:

Seguite le direzioni “Da Termini”Il biglietto della metropolitana po’ essere acquistato ai distributori automatici o qualsiasi edicola o tabacchino dentro la stazione.La frequenza del treno è di 5-15 minuti a secondo dell’ora.

Im from Argentina. My bed was full of bedbugs (piojos de cama). I suffered to night. Then I went to the reception to tell the guys. They put me in another room and gave me free laundry to wash my infected cloth. Also the elevator never worked and all the bathrooms I used were always dirty.
A good thing: the room is very spacious.

The hostel is very nice. The location is not so far from the downtown; just 10 min. by bus or 5 min by subway, which are both close to the hostel (5 min. by walking to Termini Station). The staff provides you lots of information and it has been always friendly.

really clean and well located.
the rooms are really good, nothing to complain about.
i didnt like the breakfast (that you have to pay 3 euros), imagine that i am in italy they could be more "italian", and have a really good bread,
particularly i though that the hostel could be more cozy and have more personality. i felt a little bit of "square" ambiance.
i didnt like also the machines that you should buy breakfast, and change, and water, it breaks a little with the mood of a relax trip, that you want to meet other cultures...it gives the sensation that you could be in any part of the world.
and the internet wi fi dont work, and it was a little difficult to use the computers, that were free, but you should take a code, that lasts for one hour. it was a little bizar the way to use internet.

The staff was friendly and helpful.It is located very close to Termini subway station, which gives you access to almost everywhere.. It is also pretty nice&clean for a hostel. Very simple breakfast.

i did not like the fact that after one hour of internet one had to pay for the rest of the stay. That meant that people who stayed one night got the same free hour as people who stay there three nights. That not being really a problem, just an observation, i found this hostel very nice.
One more small thing were the bunk beds. But that is my issue, where i prefer the bottom bunk. being on top was a little sketchy with how small they were and there were no side bars or anything.
like i said. Enjoyed the entire experience though.

Pulito, vicino alla stazione ma in una zona sufficientemente appartata da risultare tranquilla. Nelle stanze sono disponibili armadietti per i quali occorre però avere un proprio lucchetto La musica del bar è un poco rumorosa e va avanti tutta la notte. Nel complesso è il miglior ostello disponibile, fra quelli che ho visitato nella zona di Termini.

Ottima pulizia, posizione strategica (3min Termini e metro Castro Pretorio), il pub è perfetto per conoscere gli altri turisti. Unici problemi: gli armadietti non sono molto capienti e il riscaldamento non si può regolare. Per il resto è davvero un ottimo ostello.

Alessandro Palace was a great hostel, good location, great staff. The rooms were clean and the beds were good as well because they did not make any noise when you moved around (you don't get woken up or wake anyone else up if you have to get up early or come in late). They do have air conditioning which is a must have for Rome because it is so blistering hot in the summer. The only negative thing is that you have to leave your room key card in the wall slot for the AC and lights to work. A guy staying in my room accidentally took my room key card one night and the AC and lights quit working. Overall good Place to stay.

the 4 bed dorms were new and relatively clean. Staff were flexible and easy going however, watch out for the barman and American receptionist who try to slease on to difference girls each night! Breakfast is a mere bread roll & 2 cereals. Location is close to the main station but away from attractions

L'ostello era facilmente reggiungibile. Ho avuto una buona accoglienza, ma non mi è stata consegnata la chiave, e quando sono arrivato in stanza, la luce del bagno non funzionava. Per colazione non c'era tutta la scelta comunicata sul sito.

Its a very good hostel!
Excellent location, nice pub and great staff!
The only problem was that there were no lockers inside the room and there were only one toilet and one shower to 8 people!

I will stay at this guest house the next time I am in Rome for sure.
The only thing I did not like was that you were not able to exchange your remaining bar tokens for for euro. I was not even allowed to use them on the vending machines. I fealt I bit gouged as a customer on this point, for an otherwise excellent hostel.
