ControVento is a brand new hostel in Trieste opened in April 2018. It is located in the historic center, right in front of the sea, on the 3rd floor of a 19th century building.
Property information
The main square, Piazza Unità, is only 5 minutes away on foot; nightlife and many other attractions are literally right outside the door.
The hostel staff is always there to help you and give you valuable travel tips. Breakfast is included and wi-fi is free and reliable.
Controvento is a small and cozy hostel in Trieste and has 4 bedrooms: two 4-bed dorms (with bunk beds) and two double / triple rooms that can be shared or private. Each bed has its own power socket and a reading light, linen is included. All rooms have large lockers for storing luggage and towels can be rented at the reception. The bathrooms, one for women and one for men, are shared.
Our large common area is an open space with a sea view from which a lot of natural light enters. Here all guests can relax and meet new friends. There is also a nice fitted kitchen and a refrigerator for guests. Wi-fi is free and super fast throughout the hostel. Breakfast is included in the price.

Se tornassi a Trieste ritornerei qui sicuramente! Ostello spazioso e hipster con zona living e cucina in un palazzo storico di fronte al mare e a Eataly, il molo per i traghetti per Muggia è a due passi. Staff simpatico e disponibile :) Uno degli ostelli più belli che ho visto in Italia.
