It’s a simple place, well maintained and very clean! The location is perfect. You can walk anywhere from there, even to the Vatican, although it’s a long walk, but with so much to see in Rome, you don’t even get tired from all the walking! It was our first time and we never took a cab, but we did ride the T a few times.
Some of the pros:
- budget friendly, awesome location, a few mins from the T (Colosseo station), room was clean and spacious, Geanluca and his mom are really nice and welcoming. He gave us a map and showed us how to get around by T.
Some of the cons:
Since you’re right in the middle of the action, you’ll hear a lot of ambulances or police driving by at night (not an issue for me, but light sleepers could have a hard time)
The shower is very small! I’m 5’6” 125lbs and my elbow would hit the shower knob every time I was showering and the water would shut off several times while I was showering. I can’t imagine how a bigger person would do.
